Unfurnished, but works. Heating systems was not working at night. Maybe it was set on auto mode, so its considerable.

It's a great location stunning views great lake land culture.As it was xmas all the village looked lovely and festive. The tourist info was very helpful. we had a great afternoon tea on conniston water..The Blue Bird cafe.the hostel reminded me of the old days when hikers paid £10 for a bed and enjoyed all the yha hospitality. I love the hostel movement and I never found a bad one. I hope they are never all lost to just a hotel Thanks it's inspiring.

Never normally leave reviews but I have to say, the customer service was excellent. Especially from Miranda. She was super helpful and accommodating throughout. We had a private room that was really cold and she was super helpful and found a portable heater for us to use. The whole place was absolutely spotless.

Property could have been warmer. It was a cold and snowy weekend in the lakes. Beds aren't the most comfortable but okay for the price.

Far exceeded my expectations, comfy beds and really sweet set-up. Self catering kitchen was brilliant, the location couldnt have been better

Shower was very basic, but it was very clean so I cant really complain. Other residents in the room didn't lock the door when they left the room.. this wasn't stated as a requirement but I'd expected they would do this (especially as they left the room early with me sleeping alone in there! Please dont leave the door unlocked!)

The beds were very warm and there was a kitchen for guests to use, which I was very satisfied with.
