Studio at Church House

I liked everything

Quirky, interesting building. Very contemporary (retro) furnishings. Very pleasant owners. In a quiet secluded area by the church.

A bit of a dangerous entrance for a slightly disabled person, due irregular steps without handholds. But fitted handles would probably disfigure and look out of place in such a period setting.o

Lovely apartment , very friendly and helpful hosts.

Great location for walks and the ferry to Lundy. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable, the best use has been made of the space available. Although in the centre of Bideford, the area is very quiet as no through traffic. Friendly hosts.

The ‘extra large’ bed is a standard Kingsize bed. No hypoallergenic bedding available.

Very well appointed, good location, very clean and owner very friendly and helpful.

Smelt faintly of damp as it is a converted cellar.

Lovely little pied à terre when visiting the area. Comfortable, clean, well equipped and quiet. In the heart of Bideford with reasonably priced long stay parking just a few minutes away. I’ll be returning.

Really nice apartment

We had such a wonderful stay at Paul and Penny's Studio. It was perfect for us and so close to amenities. We parked in the nearby long stay car park which was safe and as a bonus we were able to stop outside the studio briefly to drop off our bicycles and belongings. The setting is gorgeous with a beautiful church right across from the studio and they were so welcoming in there too. We met Paul during our stay and he was super helpful and polite. Within in a two minute walk there was a lovely Nepalese restaurant with gorgeous food or there was also an Italian nearby too. There are a multitude of cafe's that do breakfast and lunches nearby too. The Tarka Trail was 5 minutes over the historic bridge that you can walk or cycle on to the nearby towns. Thanks again Paul and Penny for such a wonderfully clean and homely stay. We will be back again soon. Thanks, Fióna & Mark.
