Studio at Church House

The Studio was immaculate and comfortable. It was very quiet and peaceful. Everything we needed was there - and more. It was kind to leave us some milk and delicious biscuits. The owner, Paul, was very helpful and friendly.

A lovely, peaceful spot yet with all amenities close by. The studio was just what we wanted for a few days stay. It was clean and well equipped and the hosts were very welcoming.

A very stylish studio, in a quiet corner, near the amenities, but just off the beaten track.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property

Finished to a good standard. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. The host, Paul, was also very friendly and accommodating.

Excellent studio property right in the centre of the town. Located near the historic bridge. The kitchen was well appointed but the nature of our stay meant we didn't use it for cooking. Plenty of places for take away food with a few minutes walk and ideally situated for an early start for a trip to Lundy Island. Hosts lived on site and were friendly and helpful with parking. It was possible to stop temporarily outside the property to drop off luggage.

It was a steep walk to/from the long term car park

The property was well fitted out with good quality stuff. The location was excellent for us as we stayed two nights around a day trip to Lundy from Bideford quay - and that is why we chose this property. The kitchen had plenty of sharp knives. The heating was simple and quiet.

The taps in the washbasin are a bit too big for comfortable teeth cleaning. That's it! I can't think of anything else to dislike about the place.

Everything was absolutely perfect. A lovely quiet location. The property was immaculate, clean and comfortable and very well equipped. A lovely welcome from the owner and fresh milk awaiting us in the fridge was very well received along with the delicious biscuits. All the essentials for a short stay were in place - tea, coffee, condiments etc.

There was nothing we did not like about the property.

Beautiful apartment with everything that we needed, in a great location. Spotless and lovely lemon biscuits to welcome us. Our host was lovely and came to welcome us too. We will definitely return.
