The Sandbeck, Sleights

Excellent location. East check in. Quiet, even though it’s on the beach front. Clean, nicely decorated. The balcony/view was a bonus and I didn’t realise it was a 3 person flat so my daughter and I had a room each. Beds were comfortable; good Wi-Fi and shower. I really liked the breakfast arrangement - very much appreciated (extra tea/coffee; yoghurt, juice and range of cereals kept in the landing).

The flat is small. Check the size suits your needs. The sink wasn’t draining properly but the owner replied promptly and planned to send someone out. Parking was a problem as all the disc spaces were full. It’s possible we were there at a particularly busy weekend ( steam rally/regatta).

Excellent location. Fantastic view. Big clean room. The breakfast was a really nice touch and I loved having breakfast on the balcony.

The lock on the front door kept sticking. The bed wasn't comfy and the sink seemed blocked. I also didn't like the automatic light in the bathroom because I had to wait for it to turn itself off and the lack of fridge in the room was a little inconvenient but nothing that wouldn't make me stay again.

So pretty lovely little apartment with a most beautiful view sat on the balcony every morning and evening looking out to the sea country recommend the location enough 👌

Nothing was perfect maybe the key down stairs was a bit tricky but certainly not a complaint

Location.The view over harbour entrance and the balcony. We stayed in the Sleights and the extra room was a bonus. Breakfast,tea coffee etc and chilled fresh milk was a bonus for our brews.

No much to be honest.Got warm in the mornings even with windows open. A fan would have been useful. Room was nice and clean.Balcony could have done with a spruce up.

We had a lovely stay—spotlessly clean accommodation with a stunning view from the balcony that made the mornings, watching the sun come up really special. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which really added to the experience. Would definitely recommend Sandbeck for a relaxing break.

Parking wasn't easy on arrival, but better after the weekend.

The location is fantastic. Spacious with a balcony.

The only little niggle it could do with a fridge in the room.

There wasn’t anything. The only negative was a bird pooped on me while sitting on the balcony from the roof.
