St Etienne Guest House

The breakfast was good. The location is close enough to the center of Kigali to walk to many places.

I realize that the price is low, but I would have been happier to have paid more to stay in a nicer hotel. The room was damp with no fan or air conditioning. Water from the shower flowed into the main room each time I showered.

The location is fine. Can´t tell much about the breakfast because my stomach has had a problem and so I couldn´t enjoy it.

It´s a little bit hard trip to go there, because the road in front of the hotel isn´t paved.

Location is ok. Close to the Women's Cooperative and some other stores. There is also a more peaceful route if you choose to walk that. The room including the bathroom is quite spacious for the price and has a nice little patio. Hot water actually works! They also arranged airport pickup and drop off for me. Breakfast is alright, good to fill up your tummy in the morning. The restaurant food is also alright. I like the soup, chapati, and samosa a lot.

There was no AC and I had to ask for a fan (with a fan, so much better). Bathroom has some standing water near the sink. One night I randomly lost power; the other night I randomly lost water. They also lock the gates at night so make sure to have the WhatsApp contact of the manager or have the guard let you in. The wifi is also quite slow and I'd say not very reliable.

a huge comfy bed in a very quiet and safe environment and a nice covered seating area just outside the room. The WI-FI was very good. it is also located near a well-frequented church from where we could listen to the the choir. Reception staff was als very friendly and helpful

the staff was super kind and warm. They were always ready to help or to just have a chat. the rooms are basic, but you have everything you need. the restaurant is nice, the breakfast and coffee were very good. and they have a nice outdoor where you can sit or work.
