Hotel Relais Villa Annalara

Where we stayed was secluded and peaceful. It was homely and gave us the moment to relax with the time that we had. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They made sure that our stay and breakfast was more than satisfying. They catered to our needs and were attentive. The breakfast was lovely, with the availability of egg, bacon, aubergine, fruits, tomatoes, bread, croissant, cheese, cakes and much more, with the choice of coffee, hot chocolate or tea preferences. It is a 10 minute walk into the square, which is busy with much life and excitement, but it is convenient, not being too far from the pier/ square and the excitement. It is a lovely place to stay, with the great opportunity to breathe in the picturesque views and beauty of Amalfi coast. There is also parking 100 metres from the hotel. fantastic. €35 per day- it is a blessing because as you arrive to Naples, it is another journey to get to Amalfi. So if you are considering to drive, this is really helpful. The elevator is a bonus as there are many stairs and hills to climb. The hotel have really thought about how make the guest's stay easier.

The only thing I would advise is a waterproof floor mat to be placed inside, by the entrance of the room, so people can dust of the dirty from walking, especially when it is raining, and move it to one side, when changing out of their outdoor attire.

Friendly staff and boss itself

Having been our first time to Amalfi , I didn’t know what to expect. Just a short walk through town and then up several stairs (or take the lift - I recommend the steps - amazing views with each turn) Salvatore met us and kindly upgraded our room with an additional bed! The villa had everything we needed and a view we couldn’t believe! Breakfast was included and very fulfilling. I highly recommend and will be back!

This villa exceeded our expectations by far.. we new Amalfi would be beautiful , but walking up the many steps (we chose not to take the convenient lift) with each turn the views got better and better ! Not to mention the villa itself had everything we needed -couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

The view from the property is absolutely breathtaking! Not sure there is another place like this with these views! Salvatore treated us like family and we felt at home here. Breakfast was fantastic with the best cappuccino’s!

The room was small for 4 of us, however, that is how most rooms are in Italy.
