Chic Retreat in Downtown St Augustine

The location was great. Quiet and friendly neighbors. The house was just perfect for my husband and I along with my aunt and uncle. Who was visiting from the Caribbean. Housekeeping did a nice job preparing the house for us. Sheets smelled clean and nice. Grocery was 2 miles away where we got everything for breakfast and snacks. We ate lunch and dinner in town. The most important thing for us was having a coffee percolator lol thank you for that!! We enjoyed the mornings out on the patio rocking and sipping our coffee. Also, thank you for allowing us in earlier than the time we gave. Communication with the owner was very pleasant. Looking forward to future visits.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. We were quite comfortable with everything.

Excellent price, the pictures were very true to what the home looked like. The beds were very comfortable, the pillows were great, the decor was wonderful, and the home was just very comfortable. We will for certain stay again. We know now what we should or should not bring. It was a beautiful home, close to downtown, and the street was very quiet. The owner and his wife were very kind and helpful.

One of the things I might suggest is to have cable TV, or get an HD antenna. Not everyone has Netflix, or prime video. It would be good for guests to know that cable TV is not included. If we were able to get the spectrum TV app and stream with our own usernames and passwords that would have been most helpful. The other thing I would suggest is to at least have a frying pan and a couple baking sheets for cooking meals. There was also no gas for the gas grill. We didn't know any of these things so when we attempted to grill and bake we were unable to do so. We couldn't even scramble eggs or bacon because there was no frying pan.
