Fairfield Inn & Suites Lansing West

I had a last minute travel emergency and I found this one after looking. This hotel is absolutely disgusting. Mold on walls, weird smell everywhere. The hotel employees are beyond disrespectful. If I could’ve picked any other hotel, I would. And I should’ve.

Shout out to Dorris at the breakfast buffet! She made everyone feel at home and well cared for. She was very quick to fill our needs. The hotel was clean and quiet. Many of the fixtures, as well as the carpeting, were new. I would have given it 5 stars were it not for the mattress. It was soft, lumpy, and had big sags. It was more like a hammock than a mattress!

The clerk that checked us in was very friendly, the room was very clean. I was disappointed at a box spring mattress but it was clean and I did get the rest I needed. I love the fact that you had free breakfast out early.

Cold breakfast in a warmer. However, I was up super early. But you had a microwave and I was able to get the hot breakfast that I like. So that made up for it.

The front desk manager Tisha was very kind and helpful. Only place we could eat that night due to late hour was Applebees about a mile away. Had breakfast that was acceptable in the morning. Beds comfortable, room was clean, but what sticks in my mind was the friendliness of the night manager.

This hotel was dirty. The beds were not comfortable. To top it all off, we did not feel safe.
