All around superb, very friendly and accommodating host, very comfortable stay.

Location was off beaten track through not well kept roads - not the fault of host at all and personally did not mind the drive.

Charming cottage with great sea views! I nicely appointed accomodations with attractive decor, comfy bed / pillows, shower with a thoughtful selection of provisions for breakfast and snacks …. even a chocolate treat on our bed pillows!

Fantastic little apartment in a luxurious location. It can be a real home for a few days while we explore the area. The view is excellent - you rarely see a beautiful landscape, waterside and roe deer 20 meters from the window at the same time. Elgol Bistro is highly recommended in Elgol - it is worth booking in advance. But the biggest surprise is Ruth, the host. She helped us feel comfortable from the first minute. The facilities of the accommodation are excellent, food and drinks are prepared. She invited us to the village evening, where we met a very cheerful and close-knit community. Thanks for everything!

Elgol is located at the end of a peninsula on the Isle of Skye - a 20-kilometer narrow road leads to it, the quality of which is poor in some places. But it's worth the 30 minutes to get there - amazing scenery, amazing people!
