Location was great for highstreet

Metal step in wet not great , lack of room serviced eg rubbished removed and tea and coffee replenished

Nothing perfect for me

It was fine and definitely good value for the budget conscious. Room was clean and tidy. Proximity to town centre was excellent. Parking nearby was easy.

Outside stairs to enter building and inside stairs to our room very steep and narrow. Unappealing first impressions- the back of an untidy pub - very different to photographs online. Disappointingly the pub was shut on the evening of our arrival so there was no one on site no one to make contact with or place to meet with other members of our party especially when raining.

It’s central located to easy to walk around the town and the room smelt and felt clean. Bed was comfy.

Code hadn’t been sent to phone so had to hang around and phone to get access. No staff on site only phone number. No towels had been provided, had to phone and ask them to bring them-which they did. Room was noisy with people outside drinking under window until late and cars going by and couldn’t shut the window as so hot. It was expensive for what it was! They sent a message saying they hoped we had enjoyed our stay a day early, when we hadn’t arrived yet.

Arrived 8pm room had not been cleaned, half empty cider cans on the bed. Had paid up front but left and checked into The Hand Hotel
