Prince of wales pub and accommodation

It was okay for what we wanted it for was a bit wonky though

Bar staff hadn’t got a clue don’t deal with anything so no one around to talk to if any issues

It was very clean. Felt secure as its like fort knox!

It’s a bit loud above the pub, but not a major issue. Mattrass was not the most comfortable but passable, and duvet not very nice. Only coffee sachets and a kettle that didn’t fit under the tap. Stairs are steep.

Location is the key reason. Single rooms with email the which is great for booking groups Live entertainment on Saturday nights

It’s very tired and more functional than extravagant

We liked the fact that the room was clean and tidy..bedding was fresh and nice towels . Also staff were very friendly. We loved that we were so near to the town - some gorgeous bars and restaurants. We will be back

Just the fact that we could not get the key straight away as pub was short staffed. Room a bit noisy. However did not spoil our stay overall.

The shower

Outside stairs up to room need painting. Room 1, cramped room, very soft bed & pillows, clear glass in door & outside light on & off all night, so disturbing. Green emergency light very bright all night. Furniture wobbly. Bathroom folding door needs inside knob to close it & door not painted. Kettle doesn't fit under basin tap. Very noisy, as expected, Saturday night but stopped at midnight.
