Proximité de la ville à pied et des voies de circulation. Parking facile dans la rue. Chambre agréable et convenablement meublée.

La cuisine qui, malgré une présentation confusante des photos du site, était commune. D’ailleurs, toute la maison semble être un espace partagé. Dans la cuisine : vaisselle dont la propreté est douteuse, torchons tachés et jamais changés en 4 jours, poubelles débordantes et/ou entreposées. Dans la chambre, réfrigérateur bruyant et difficile à ouvrir à cause de la moquette. Sous le lit un bac plastique contenant des emballages vides et une couette (roulée et non protégée) entreposée à même le sol. Moisissures dans le bac à douche et saleté le long de ce bac. Pour finir, les occupants du rez de chaussée, non contents d’émettre une musique bruyante, ont mis en place un système d’échelle permettant à n’importe qui de s’introduire sans avoir de clef ! Sans doute parce que nous avons fermé plusieurs fois la porte sur rue systématiquement laissée entrouverte. Du jamais vu pour nous !!!! Le propriétaire de la chambre ferait bien d’aller voir ce qui se passe là bas.

Il gestore era quasi sempre irraggiungibile. Appena arrivati ci ha fornito il codice sbagliato per l'accesso e siamo stati costretti ad aspettare alcune ore e chiamare l'assistenza di booking. La stanza in sè era okay, pulita e rispettava le fotografie. Il problema era la comunicazione con il gestore, abbiamo avuto altri imprevisti e non abbiamo potuto farci aiutare...

Nikt nie wynosił śmieci z kuchni, nie było też worków zapasowych, żeby zrobić to samemu. Ścierki w kuchni były brudne, nikt ich nie wymienił przez cały tydzień. Nikt nie uzupełnił ręczników papierowych, mimo że kuchnia była raz sprzątana. Z opisu apartamentu na boking.com trudno było wywnioskować, czy kuchnia jest przy pokoju, czy w części wspólnej.

Overall property did the job of a comfortables place to stay for one night.

Only negative was finding clean crockery/cutlery in communal kitchen.

It was clean and the bed was comfy.

It’s wasn’t as described on the website I booked through which gave the impression you had the whole place to yourself instead of an en-suite with a fridge and microwave. The shower was scalding hot and the thermostat doesn’t work so it was unsafe. There wasn’t anywhere to make a coffee and no teaspoons in the bedroom. The code to my room key was wrong and I had a faff to get in and no check out email arrived as promised. You’re not normally expected to go into a garden and empty your bin in what is essentially a hotel room with no staff.

This accommodation near the centre of Eastbourne is well maintained and equipped with all you need. Great bed, neat bathroom, quiet surroundings. The fridge is a plus. Contact with the host was very smooth. Free parking on the street in front of the house no problem at all. Eastbourne is ideally located for exploring Sussex (we had a week for it).

Overall, the furnishings are a bit basic, but that didn't bother us personally. For a 1-week stay, we would have liked extra towels.

Great value for money and location.
