"Amazing rustic farm getaway."

10.0

Beautiful location on an organic apple farm, with friendly farm workers and owner. Loved the chalet, the bathroom had been upgraded since the pics on here so no avocado sink! There isn't a kitchen (which I knew on booking) however, Martin the owner provides plenty of crockery, glasses, cutlery and washing up bowl so you can manage by using the bathroom sink. Theres a microwave, toaster and fridge, coffee machine and kettle, with tea and coffee pods and milk provided. Along with bottled water. I took my camping stove and used that - worked really well. Theres also lots of pubs in walking distance if you don't want to cook. Martin also provided plenty of wood to use with the log burner which keeps the place toasty - although there is additional heating if you need it. Amazing decking space with fantastic views, lots of walks and places to explore. Highly recommend if you're after a rustic farm getaway.

Cute cottage with everything you might need

It was not quite as secluded as the pictures made it seem

"Pleasant Characterful Chalet On A Farm"

10.0

Great location near Bodiam Castle.Nestled in tge beautiful High Weald on the Sussex/Kent border. On an organic small holding with chickens roaming around. Very characterful. A real taste of the countryside. Very interesting people around to help if you need anything. It is a working farm so expect to see people bustling about working.Great place for walking with so many public footpaths criss crossing the farm.Bodiam, Ewhurst Green and Staplecross, Salehurst Halt all have footpaths from Bramley Farm. You can walk to the pubs in those villages.Londis is in Staplecross open 7am to 7pm with a post office inside. The Bodiam hub is an excellent place to eat 5 minutes away by car or 30 mins walk. A unique place nestled in ancient apple orchards. The chalet where you will stay has everything you need. A small lounge,a kitchen diner and a modern bathroom.Nice quirky decor. It has a log burner. The views are fantastic. You can stay in the cosy chalet playing scrabble or you can interact with the open people who work the farm as you wish. We chatted to a nice fella from the Isle Of Wight volunteering there. Martin the owner is very open and friendly. He explained to me what the farm is about and his ethos. I felt really happy away from my usual routine in somewhere so different. It gave me food for thought. I suggest you try it too...

Maybe, this is being picky but the hedge could be cut back a little more to allow for a view whilst lying in bed. I suppose this must be balanced with birds natural habitats being disturbed.Just a suggestion the folk there know bedt what to do ! Just a terrific place....! It is just a charming, unique place. The wonderful experience far outweighed any slight negatives!!!! Try it for yourselves.....

"Gorgeous retreat!!!"

10.0

Martin's cottage was absolutely adorable, the pictures don't actually do it justice. It's really well appointed and the decor is lovely. Martin couldn't have been nicer and his farm is stunning. The area is incredible also, with Bodiam castle and nice pubs really close. We would love to stay again!
