Adorable Hideaway with log fire and incredible views

Very comfortable, clean and picturesque. Beautiful views from the front of the property and enjoyed a walk through the Orchard. Ideal for the one night stay we wanted, comfortable bed and very clean. Useful bits like tea, coffee, microwave, a fridge etc. Tasty apple juice too. Friendly host who made us feel very welcome. Kids enjoyed the sheep and lambs and sweet little cat. Great value for money, quiet, peaceful and beautiful.

How secluded and quiet it was. Easy to find yet feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. Wildlife running free around you, nice walks and the stars at night from how dark the location is. For a real escape it was perfect.

No kitchen was difficult for us as we have two small children with us. But what’d you expect for the great price. We ate out anyway….but the friendly host has still made the accommodation as homely as possible with everything else from toasters, to fridges, kettles etc.

It was lovely and cosy, had everything we needed for 1 nights stay. The wood burner is a great addition kept us toasty. Thank you Martin

Breakfast not provided but, helpfully, limited food items provided. Certainly away from it all! Very peaceful. Pretty outlook. Comfortable bed.

The signage to reach it is extremely poor- so difficult to find once dark, and very rutted lane to property.

Cosy and well equipped. Owner was very nice, responsive to emails and happy to help with anything.

Charming cabin in peaceful surroundings, within walking distance of Bodiam Castle and local amenities. Host was very friendly and helpful, suggesting local walking routes and good pubs. Good wifi, comfortable bed, hot shower, lovely lounge area. My daughter appreciated the hairdryer and hair straighteners! Kitchenette was well stocked with all necessary cutlery and crockery, washing up supplies etc. There was also a coffee machine (with pods) as well as a very nice bottle of apple juice, milk, and a small fruit bowl - this was a nice touch.

I would have preferred a slightly bigger fridge but realise space in the kitchenette area might be an issue.
