Spacious 4 Bedroom Maisonette in Central Matlock with River Views & Wi-Fi

House is in a great location and well decorated inside with a lot of character. Lots of friendly signs and instructions around to help out.

Only downside is the flight of stairs to get into the property. We had our parents/in-laws with us who were ok with them but a watch out if you struggle or maybe older.

The house itself is brilliant, loads of seating and appliances, totally accommodated all 11 of us and a dog 🐕 location is fab with a good choice of food and drink , totally enjoyed our stay 😀

On arrival we had no heating or hot water , but must say it was sorted within the hour. Parking is not the best at all , was hard work getting all our belongings to the property, just a shame you can't park directly outside just to unload , also we did know about the stairs before hand but there was alot more then we thought x

It’s a huge space which easily fit our group of nine plus our kitten! The kitchen was amazing and well equipped. We cooked meals at the house the whole weekend and could all move around each other in the kitchen. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. It’s right in the Peak District and close to lots of beautiful hikes.

Nothing, it was fabulous! There’s no parking directly at the property (but we found plenty on the street) and there are about 4 flights of stairs to climb to get into the space which was fine for our group but may be difficult for people with mobility issues.

More stairs than expected

Inside the property was wonderful. Lots of helpful little notes and everything to a high standard. Very comfy and cosy. Plenty of space.

Getting there. There is quite a trek to the property up a lot of stairs (fire escape). We had 3 young children with us so trapping them and their bags up was quite a feat.

Great size and nice facilities. The massage chair too. Easy to access walking trails and restaurants.

The stairs were a bit hard for my mother as she has hip issues but fine for everyone else.

Very comfortable has everything you need

Large, clean ,spacious and comfortable. Had a really nice welcoming family feel to it. Lots of useful kitchen equipment. Great location in centre of town, didn't use our cars once.

Only downside no onsite parking.

Right in the heart of Matlock, perfect for shopping, eating and drinking. Nice spacious house with comfortable beds and large airy rooms. Loads of excellent information and an awesome massage chair.

Free parking is only overnight and drop off of luggage is difficult so several trips to the carpark. Lots of steps to the property 55ish in total which was a killer and the outside area is the top of the fire escape.
