Stunning One Bedroom Duplex Apartment In Heart of Jewellery Quarter

Property has the potential to be really homely if it was managed correctly

I arrived at the property to find it had not been cleaned from previous occupant. Towels were dirty, sink, toilet and shower not cleaned, kitchen filthy with broken glass. Bed had no clean sheets on the mattress and pillows and duvet no covers. I reported to office and nobody had any sense of urgency to resolve. Next day when I returned back from work nothing had been resolved despite assurances in the day it would be. As a result I’m in correspondence with booking.com as had no communication, apology or offer of a refund.

This apartment was double booked and while they sent a message saying a few days before to cancel the booking as there was a plumbing issue they still proceeded to send all check-in details so I assumed the original message was sent in error(especially given the frivolous nature of the cancellation request sent). Upon accessing the apartment we were greeted by another couple which was obviously an incredibly traumatic experience for both us and them. The "plumbing issue" was clearly a lie and they double booked the apartment to which they responded "Apologies, this was booked by someone else." Stay away from this apartment as a result of the incredibly dangerous situation the owners put us in.

Nice location

Lack of towels, soap, tea towels. The coffee machine is a silly Phillips one that takes pods - very annoying for a short stay when you don’t want to buy a box of pods you’ll never use anywhere else.

Easy to access the property it looks exactly like the pictures, close to town centre and shops. Really enjoyed my stay

The only thing that let it down was only one towel but two people staying and no shower gels etc in the bathroom other than that it would of been a 10
