The duvet could have been thicker considering it is December and it only just fit the bed. There were only 2 quite flat pillows and could have done with some more. There was no tea towel to wash cups etc. A dishwasher and washing machine were supplied but no powder. This would have been a nice touch. The hob needed a good wipe over. The window in the lounge area does not close fully so it was quite cold.

I recently had an extremely disappointing stay here and although do not usually leave reviews I feel compelled to share my experience to help fellow travelers avoid the same ordeal. Location Hassles: The property's location is a nightmare to find, especially in the dark. The long walk from the property to the lockbox is poorly lit, making navigation challenging and unsafe. Unreachable Contact Number: When issues arose, the provided contact number was utterly useless. Multiple attempts to reach them were in vain, leaving us stranded and frustrated. Incorrect Code Nightmare: The pinnacle of our misery was discovering that the code given was incorrect, resulting in a freezing three-hour ordeal outside. We only gained access when someone else exited the property – an unacceptable and uncomfortable situation. Appalling Hygiene Standards:The property itself was a horror show. Filthy conditions greeted us, including a sink filled with stagnant water resembling vomit. The lack of cleanliness was not only unsightly but also raised serious health concerns. Uncomfortable Sleeping Conditions: The pillows provided were akin to rocks, making for a sleepless and uncomfortable night. A basic amenity such as comfortable bedding was sorely lacking. Lack of Responsibility: Upon calling the next day, the staff shockingly claimed they didn't have the correct code, leaving us trapped inside. Their lack of preparation and accountability is utterly unacceptable. Refund Request: Seeking a refund for the appalling experience, we were met with sass and rudeness over the phone. The level of unprofessionalism displayed by the staff was shocking and unacceptable. In summary, my stay here with EMPIRE (property managers) was marred by a litany of issues, from poor communication to a complete lack of responsibility. Save yourself the headache and avoid booking at this property. There are countless other options available that prioritise guest safety, comfort, and customer service.

There was no key left for me to gain entry. Over successive days I called both numbers listed but it was never answered. I left messages every time with no response. I also texted the mobile number given but again no response. Emails to the address given were similarly unanswered I was left late on a Sunday evening in the pouring rain with no alternative but to book into the nearest hotel at considerable expense and then arrange accommodation for the rest of the week leaving me substantially out of pocket. I wish to reclaim both the fee charged by these scammers and the extra expense of alternative accommodation together with compensation for the awful experience Please advise

Clean. Pretty. Well presented

Very cold. Only the heater in the living room worked. Quilt very thin. Only 1 thin pillow. No milk, sugar or tea/coffee. No dish cloth. No access to Netflix. Wi-Fi didn’t work. No bath mat.

Great location and nice flat. Bigger than it seems on the pictures.

The heating is NOT working and it was absolutely freezing in there... almost made it impossible to complete our stay. I would not recommend booking unless heating is sorted.
