Podere L'Aquila

The hosts were excellent, with the dinner being maybe the best we had over the whole trip. The location is beautiful - the remoteness added to this. Traditional Tuscan property. Bedrooms/beds were very good.

From the pictures of our room we thought we had our own balcony/terrace with a view of the valley however this was a communal area (there was an outside sitting area in a courtyard). The pool requires maintenance and a deep clean.

Assunta and Rudi created something very unique! The place is like a small paradise. The hospitality, the place, the views, all that will always stay in my heart! We'll cherish moments spent there. We left there not so long ago, and already look forward to getting back there. Joining the pizza Friday feels like cut straight from the movie 🥰

We loved the location - the tranquility and the far-reaching views. The large pool, and also our apartment which was well-appointed, comfortable and cool. And our hosts - Assunta & Rudiger were extremely helpful and welcoming....and made excellent pizza!

Nothing we didn't like - it's quite a slow tortuous drive up into the hills to get to Podere L'Aquila. But worth it for the views and the tranquility.

Very nice people, excellent location and good food!

Being so close to the nature you need to be ready to coexist with all small guests like insects ;)
