Kuun Taak Tulum

Kuun Taak Tulum offers a delightful retreat with its charming villas that exactly match their promotional photos. We spent five nights here and found the setting utterly tranquil, although we didn’t make use of the rooftop jacuzzi or the swimming pool, both of which are available to guests. The property has recently been taken over, and while some areas need improvement, the exceptional, personalized service provided by Juan Carlos significantly enhances the guest experience. His commitment to guest satisfaction is commendable. A definite highlight of staying at Kuun Taak Tulum is the dining experience! Whether you are there for a night or more, breakfast and dinner are not to be missed. Chef Mane is a true culinary artist, offering dishes that rank among the best we've had in Mexico!

Be prepared for a bumpy ride as the approach road to the property is unfinished, with some rather severe potholes. Despite this, we managed multiple trips without any issues. Since the site is still under development, parking is plentiful and free, which is a relief in the bustling area of Tulum beach.

This whole place is amazing. A great getaway. Loved the private pool and rooftop. And the staff here were amazing. The food at the restaurant was stellar. The chefs here know their craft.

It was a great value. Private pool , private jacuzzi , full kitchen & enough space to move around . It was also in a great location . Located in between downtown Tulum & the beach .

We couldn’t get our jacuzzi to operate properly and getting help to figure it out didn’t really happen . Although we weren’t really bothered by it , we had hoped to be able to utilize it at night as it gets a little chilly at night for the pool .

Staying at Kuun Taak in Tulum was like stepping into a dream. Seriously, I felt like I'd found paradise in the middle of the jungle! First off, big props to my buddy Juan Carlos here. He and his team seriously know how to make you feel like a VIP. They're all about going the extra mile, making sure your stay is top-notch. Now, let's talk about the setting. Surrounded by lush greenery, waking up to the sounds of nature was soul-soothing. It's the kind of peaceful vibe you don't get in the city, you know? Just being there felt like a mini retreat. And don't even get me started on the food. The restaurant here is a foodie's dream come true. Every meal was a flavor explosion, and you could tell they put a lot of love into sourcing local ingredients. If you're there, do yourself a favor and try their chilaquiles and green juice in the early morning breakfast – it's out of this world. But what really sets this place apart is the whole holistic vibe. A relaxing massage with birds chirping in the background, relaxing spa treatments, and just lounging by the pool – it's all about feeding your soul and finding that inner zen. Overall, staying at Kuun Taak Tulum was the highlight of my trip to Tulum. Huge shoutout to the awesome team for creating such an incredible experience. Can't wait to come back!
