Friendliness of staff and how we were treated by Mita and family. Pool was cool. Breakfast is really nice. Amazing rooms. Massage service was great and at a reasonable price. Rooms and bathrooms are supper clean.

Mita is so helpful. She provides a yummy breakfast. The facilities are excellent and it truly is a home away from home. It's lovely to experience the culture and friendliness of the Balinese people in this setting. It's walking distance from the touristy spots in Ubud and yet tranquil.

We spent 10 days here with our 2yrs old son and it was absolutely fantastic! Mita and her family are amazing hosts, always available to help. If you are looking for an authentic stay with heartwarming locals, this is the place.

The location is awesom! You can reach Ubud Place within walking distance. After you turn out of the alley, it is very lively all the way (about 300 meters). There are many restaurants, bars, and massages along the way. Breakfast was very delicious!

Mita was so easy to deal with and catered to all our needs during our stay.

The beds were very comfortable and the pool was lovely. The best part was our host Mita who looked after us beautifully - from cooking breakfast, to arranging her father-in-law Nyoman to drive us around, to fetching bandaids when needed. She couldn’t have been more lovely and we enjoyed seeing a traditional Balinese family compound and way of life.

The house was a little unusual in having 4 completely separate rooms connected via an outdoor staircase, which might be an issue if you have small children, but it was fine for us with teenagers.

Property had great facilities and private pool. The hosts were amazing and helped out with everything we asked!

We spent 2 weeks with my husband and 7 months old baby at Danu House and couldn’t wish for a better accommodation! It is in the backyard of a kind Balinese family but we had full privacy and felt safe that the house was not facing the street directly. Mita, the host, went above and beyond: cleaned the house twice a week, sent the poolman every second day, prepared us delicious breakfasts every day - she even made Glutenfree pancakes for my husband, provided us as much filtered water as we needed, helped to arrange massage for us and in general we could ask for her help with anything:) The house is super clean, the pool as well - which was very important for us. The location is the best, walking distance to the center. We are glad that we have found this accommodation!
