DANU HOUSE UBUD

EVERYTHING!!! Mita & her family are incredible. The house is gorgeous & blew our minds how much space we had. 2 large bedrooms, 4 toilets each with a shower, a living room, kitchen & dining room as well as a pool, balcony & great outdoor space. It is a great location, close to the main high street in Ubud, walking distance to Ubud Palace & a short drive to the Monkey forest & very close to rice fields & other sights. Mita makes a lovely breakfast that is so filling & her father in law drove us to all of the sights we wanted to go to, which is so convenient. We had a wonderful stay 😍

I wish we could have stayed longer

Beautiful place, quiet area no noise from the busy street. Very kind people and nice private house with lots of facilities including fast aircon, mosquito nets, cooking facility and washing machine. Excellent breakfast and mineral water machine is very useful

Mostly perfect, just small disadvantage is that it are 4 separate rooms connected via outside: 2x bedroom, 1x living, 1x kitchen. Difficult to hear kids if aircon is on. And you cannot lock the doors of the rooms, only garden gate.

The welcome we received was incredible. We were lucky enough to be there during the Galungan celebrations and the host made sure to include us and get us ready to take part. The location was perfect, walking distance from the centre. Freshly cooked breakfast on request.

Mita is an amazing host. She welcomed us to their Kuningan Day ceremony with her and her family. No request was a hassle to her. Always greeted us with a smile 😃 Will definitely come back to visit again !!

Nothing at all

Our stay at Danu House was incredibly special. Mita and the Danu family made us feel so comfortable and were ready to help with anything we needed. It was a beautiful experience staying inside the family compound and learning about daily Balinese life. Our daily breakfast was delicious and the villa and pool was a great place for us to relax and unwind. The location was a 10 minute walk from the heart of Ubud and very close to a lot of restaurants, shopping, spas and yoga schools.

It has been a pleasant stay at Danu house and host Mita was very helpful before/during the stay. She was easily reached over whatsapp and helped us to arrange for airport transfer service as well as a driver (her dad) for sightseeing. She also helped us make arrangements for the jeep tour to Mt Batur. Timing for breakfast was also very flexible and Mita was very accommodating.

Rita the host is awesome. Always wanting to make sure everyone is happy and will help with what ever you require. Her breakfasts are very generous and our kids loved playing with theirs. Location is ideal, a short stroll to some local cafes and eateries or a 15min walk to Ubud central. Rice fields and main attractions are not far.
