Character Cottage In West Burton, Wensleydale

The location was fantastic the locals were really friendly and fab food in the local.pub. The cottage was outstanding and more than i expected will definitely be back. The falls just a short walk away are magical, you can easily travel to Hawes where the fabulous Wenslydale Creamery is situated and a great choice of cheeses. Leyburn is also another place to visit aswell as Grassington. Not forgeting the stunning Aysgarth Falls we were lucky that it had been raining so the falls were in full flow. Thank you Lucy and Gareth your cottage is amazing couldnt have asked for better.

Cute, cosy little cottage, warm, clean and comfortable. Great value for money.

Cottage decorated to a high modern standard in a lovely location - quiet but also near the shops and pub, with all the equipment you'd expect. Bathroom is especially nice.

The cottage does feel a bit cramped, for example you have to move the sofa to fold out the dining table, and the position of kitchen cupboards makes it very easy to smack your head.

I cooked an excellent breakfast thanks. The cottage was well appointed, great location within the village. The only slight negative was a downstairs loo, butthat had been declared, and it was beautifully appointed. Parking outside was easy, very accepting neighbours. Local pub was a real asset, basic food, but very efficient barman, and welcoming. The village is worth exploring, including the waterfall painted by Turner ! Just enjoy the village and environs
