Castle Ings jem

Lovely room with lots of bits for breakfast and snacking in the fridge and kitchenette. So much space and little features in the room, which was immaculate and clean. A lot of thought had clearly gone into the details of the place, and the location was perfect being only a short walk from the train station, the town centre and the riverside.

My tall partner did have to duck under the beams and in the bathroom a bit, and was a little bit cold in the room but that's February for you, and there was heating and a blanket so not a problem.

Very clean, had everything needed and very cosy apartment, couldn't ask for more

The layout was very thoughtful and tasteful. The shower was great, bed comfortable and it was very clean.

Lovely accommodation - comfortable bed, great shower, excellent provisions for breakfast and drinks. Walking distance to the train station so we could pop into York or Harrogate, friendly local pubs. We loved it!

Modern, well equipped room to a high standard. Comfy bed. Simple breakfast items provided, microwave, toaster, kettle, milk etc in the fridge. Convenient location, short walks to river, town centre and railway station. Ideal spot for travelling to York / Harrogate by train. Host (lives on the premises) was extremely helpful.

There was nothing not to like. I understand that this is a new let following a conversion and the host has some tweaks planned, feedback and suggestions are welcomed.

Location is excellent for both the river, castle and the centre of town, You have your own parking right in front of the property, you open the door and it is so welcoming and cosy with everything you need, Joanne is contactable at all times should you need her, the perfect host, Bed is so comfy, will definitely be coming back

We were very lucky to be the first to stay at Castle Ings Jem. The apartment is compact but beautiful, clean and tastefully decorated, offering all you need for a two night stay. It's perfectly located for exploring Knaresborough and the surrounding areas, within walking distance for shops, pubs, restaurants, train and bus links and stunning walks and attractions. Our hosts were perfect, keeping in contact with all information needed and provided complimentary extras ( beer, wine, water, milk, tea and coffee, chocolate and breakfast items ). There is also off street parking and a small outdoor seating area. The accommodation was exceptionally clean and warm with a well equipped kitchenette, lovely hot shower, comfy bed, TV with many streaming channels and an alexa for music. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend/return. We were also impressed with the cost for a two night stay. Thank you 😊

We loved everything. My partner is tall and struggled with the size of the bed slightly (small double) and we only had two coat hangers and limited hanging space. There was also no iron/board but I'm sure these would have been readily supplied if we had asked. These are small gripes and most definitely did not affect the enjoyment of our stay.
