Perfect location, stunning view. Huge apartment.

Decor is spare and sheets and towels could use an upgrade. Although we found this to be common place throughout Sicily

The location is excellent, overlooking the sea and near to the outdoor market and restaurants. Kitchen/dining/living area has 2 doors opening onto juliet balconies with seaviews. Upstairs terrace is spacious and sunny with seaviews.

Bedrooms are dark and one has a curtain instead of a door. Would have liked a dishwasher. A parasol would be useful on the terrace.

The rooftop terrace was a great and comfortable place to relax and enjoy the sun and sounds of Ortigia. The apartment was spacious with attention to details which made food preparation and washing clothes easy.

I always appreciate when there are some basics in the kitchen.

Noise from near apartment renovation - but just bad timing

Excellent location. A very spacious ONE-bedroomed apartment over three floors with interesting features. Well equipped. Lovely rooftop terrace with good furniture.

As two couples we chose La Maree based on the information on Booking.Com describing it as having two double bedrooms. This is NOT the case. There is one very generous master bedroom. The “second bedroom “ is actually a double bed in a cordoned off area of the mezzanine overlooking the large living/kitchen area. One partition of of this “bedroom “ consists of a large wardrobe with doors facing the downstairs area and a very flimsy piece of curtain. There is nowhere to place clothes , toiletries or any belongings. There is one bathroom with a shower and a downstairs toilet. The shower is in urgent need of replacement as the base was filthy and in very poor condition. We found this hard to understand as the cleanliness overall was very good. On a less important note, the rooftop terrace needs a sunshade.

The location was excellent. The kitchen was well-equiipped for a rental. The views were nice. Comfortable living and dining area.

Breakfast was only a coffee machine -- no food provided. The listing said two bathrooms, but there was only one and a half. The bedrooms were dark and not inviting.

The location was perfect. The apartment was very clean and roomy. Enough soaps and toilet paper for the week. The clothes dryer was very appreciated. The terrace was lovely. Great water views!

The only negative thing was the mattress in the master bedroom. It needs to be replaced. You sink in the middle which made it quite uncomfortable. Everything else was perfect.

Perfect location and really beautiful apartment. The views from the rooftop are amazing.

The apartment is advertised as two bathrooms. This is not really correct. It is 1 bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet.

The location was ideal with the market and lots of restaurants nearby. The upper deck is fabulous however, you must be very mindful of the winding stairs. The communication with the property manager was excellent. Paid parking was accessible.

There are two bedrooms however, one bedroom does not have a door, just a curtain and therefore can be noisy.
