Majacho`s House

The property was located inside a beautiful wild landscape. It is next to the river surrounded by beautiful tall trees. You can easily spot some exotic birds on the porch overseeing the river. At night be ready to be ready to encounter monkeys and sloths hanging around near the property!

Amqzing location, not to far from the city but far enough for quiet and peace :) Amazing food lovely dogs and very helpfull staff :)

Su autenticidad. El alojamiento es sencillo pero tiene una ubicación privilegiada y te permite estar en contacto directo con la naturaleza. Rafael y su familia hacen que te sientas en casa y se esfuerzan en cada momento, haciendo que disfrutes de la experiencia. La comida espectacular, sana y variada (Carmen es una excelente cocinera y en nuestro caso, siendo vegetarianos, nos ha ofrecido alternativas variadas). Los tours que ofrecen son muy interesantes. Se nota que cuidan y transmiten el respeto a su tierra y cultura: Sin duda súper recomendable.

Nada a destacar

Majacho’s House è un posto stupendo, posizionato leggermente fuori dalla città e quindi ideale per chi vuole vivere la VERA esperienza dell’Amazzonia. La struttura è deliziosa: essenziale ma ben curata (e sempre pulitissima), totalmente immersa nel verde della giungla e letteralmente di fronte al fiume Tambopata. I bungalow in legno sono spaziosi ma hanno elettricità, ventilatore, reti e zanzariere per gli insetti e acqua corrente (ovviamente non calda, ma con le temperature che ci sono non è affatto necessaria). Cibo sempre al top, freschissimo, cucinato ogni giorno dalla magnifica e simpaticissima Carmen. E poi c’è Rafael, il proprietario, disponibile e gentile oltre ogni misura, che sa sempre consigliarti i tour e i posti migliori nella zona. Insomma se siete da queste parti e cercate un’esperienza diversa dai soliti eco-hotel, Majacho’s House e il suo incredibile staff sono un’esperienza super-consigliata che vi resterà nel cuore.

La atención de Carmen y Rafael, son excelentes anfitriones, comparten sus conocimientos sobre la Selva y facilitan la llegada al alojamiento y todo lo relacionado con la estadía. Las instalaciones son muy lindas en un entorno hermoso frente al río, las cabañas amplias, limpias y agradables. Los almuerzos y desayunos que prepara Carmen son exquisitos, todos con frutas y verduras de su casa. Son una hermosa familia y nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Muchas Gracias!! Los recomendaremos!

Tout était parfait, on a adoré notre séjour. Difficile de trouver des hôtes plus gentils que Rafael et sa famille, tous aux petits soins. Les excursions organisées avec ou via Rafael étaient incroyables, la cuisine de Carmen mémorable, copieuse, avec des produits frais et de qualité, la chambre dans laquelle nous avons logé était charmante, très confortable, d'une propreté irréprochable et au calme. Il n'y a vraiment aucun point négatif, tout était parfait. Puerto Maldonado a été un coup de cœur lors de notre voyage et le séjour au sein de cet établissement y a contribué.

The stay at Rafa and his family was nothing short of amazing. Although there was somewhat of a language barrier it felt like a second family for a few days. The effort that Rafa made to make us feel at home, the love that he showed for the environment and the wonderful personal tours he provided. On top of that his wonderful mother made lovely meals and even made some delicious salsa for us while we left. Big bonus was their lovely dogs. 10/10 experience!
