Lou Ralph Hotel

The pool was clean and not too small. The cleaning man was friendly. The bed and mattress were comfortable. The bathroom was run down but still usable.

1) "Good breakfast included" is not true, because it was pretty sparse and precisely counted, for example when I asked for a little more milk for a second coffee, it was refused. It was not even selectable, because hotel employees always decide themself which breakfast you get, regardless of whether you like it or not. 2) "Balcony" was usable because the loud compressor of an air conditioning system is installed in the middle of the balcony of every hotel room, so that you can hardly find space to sit there. 3) Fitness center is also half a lie, because you can only use it for an extra fee. 4) Fridge, it was a mini fridge that only had space for few small bottles. 5) The receptionists were unfriendly, the barkeeper was pretty sleepy and hardly approachable, no matter how many drinks you ordered. No cheerfulness, no smile, no attention. The only staff member who was friendly was the cleaner. 6) The address of the hotel, supposedly in East Legon or near East Legon, is also wrong or even a clever deception, because East Legon is known to be a posh and popular area because of its many restaurants and cafes. The hotel is located far away in the west of Accra instead of in East Legon.

Luxurious facilities and great pool. Decent affordable option for rooms. Decently clean. Good price. Safe neighbourhood. Will be back.

The shower drain was not draining properly. The customer service was lacking and we didn't get any info about our stay at arrival. Didn't feel welcome.
