Stelle di Monte

The location, the actual accomodation, the view and the owners are excellent! It is a dream place at a dream location. I highly recommend to have dinner there as well one night as the chef and owner spoils you with the food and the pallette he is using! Also one of the best breads I have tried, during dinner, homemade by Nathalie. Breakfast is one of the best I have had!

Idyllic place. Stunning views on Montepulciano and surroundings. Beautiful rooms and property, almost straight out of an architecture magazine. Wonderful hosts, friendly, dedicated. Nathalie was of tremendous help right from our booking up to the end of our stay, providing us suggestions of visits, wineries, restaurants and so on that were adapted to our tastes, and helped us with reservations for the activities we chose. Igor's cooking was outstanding, the breakfasts were great, but what we will remember the most is our exeptionnal dinner in the wine cellar. Thank you for this magical stay.

I just wish we had (took?) more time in our schedule just to relax on the terrace and enjoy the views. On a word of caution: it is around a 25 minutes walk to the City, very doable but just be aware that is quite uphill (contrary to what is mentioned on G* maps).

Everything about it was thoughtful. Nathalie and Igor were such great hosts and we are blessed to have stayed here!

The property was absolutely stunning! Best view in Montepulciano! The meal I had in Italy cooked by owner Igor (Michelin chef). Top notch customer service, amazing breakfast, beautiful rooms!

Nathalie & Igor were the most wonderful hosts and made our Honeymoon extra special with our stay at Stelle Di Monte. The views are incredible and the rooms are lovely. Nathalie went above and beyond in making recommendations of local places to visit and booking a trip to a local vineyard and a dinner at a pig farm for us. The food was some of the best we have had, will definitely be back!!

Both Igor and Nathalie were amazing hosts! They were super helpful, and were spot on with their recommendations - for things to do both in and around Montepulciano. The property was amazing, and has a great view of the city! A full-fledged restaurant is in the works, however in the interim, you can inform Igor/ Nathalie beforehand for a meal at the property.

Nothing as such

The location is absolutely wonderful. Actually, it is much better to stay at Stelle di Monte than to stay in town, because you can enjoy the utterly breathtaking panorama of the city walls and towers flowing from the hills down to the fields... You will have a wonderful breakfast (I mean it, the products used in the breakfast are all local and outstanding) looking at this perfect Tuscan landscape (and that's why we're there, aren't we ?)... You can watch at the city lights at night when you're back from your day hiking... Just perfect :) With respect to food and hospitality : well, I have myself worked quite a lot in that field, and these guys are really really gooooood. But you'll see that by yourself. Rooms and amenities are just perfect and totally match a high hospitality standard. Super professional.... In conclusion : hats down and thumbs up for Nathalie and Igor... You're really good at what you do, and you're so cool ! We'll be back ;)

This Tuscan property is a 10! If you are lucky enough to stay here then have hit the lottery! The rooms are wonderfully designed with every comfort in mind and the decor is just so authentically Tuscan, so classy, so comfortable and so inviting all mixed together. It just made me feel so very welcome from the wonderfully chosen duvets and blankets to the thick cotton towels. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and the best thing about waking up is dining in the gardens taking in the magical view!!! Dinner prepared by Chef Igor served in their wine seller was better than any dinner you will find in Montepulciano. Igor and Nathalie were incredible hosts in ever way!!!
