Koh Rong Lagoon

Comfy beds with good AC, large and clean toilet and shower facilities, easy scooter rental, cool jungle location with good lighting to get there even in the dark, for those going to Nest it's close by, but you don't hear the music in the dorms. Food & drinks available on site and reasonably priced water refils. Soon there will be privates available too. Lots of space outside, friendly doggos, hammocks and seating area to chill in and socialise. Recommend.

Because people stay here and go to the Nest parties people come back very late, so the first night we were both disturbed by people coming in due to their noise and also the bed lights, so I wore an eyemask and earplugs the second night and slept much better.

Probably the friendliest place I’ve stayed after a month of travelling south east Asia. Very relaxed place in the perfect spot between two of the party hostels meaning you can have some quiet where you’re staying but a five minute walk either direction and you’re at the expensive party hostels. The beds and aircon were great. All around I couldn’t recommend this place more.

Nothing everything was good

Really enjoyed my stay here, it’s a very chilled hostel if that’s what you’re looking for. If you want party you can walk to the other hostels like Nest which is less than 10 minute walk. The staff here are all really accommodating, Dolla is a top guy and a great chef! The dorms are nice with big beds and Ac, and the other facilities are good for the island!

The beds were massive and very comfy, there were lockers to store our stuff in and everything was pretty clean. The staff here are really kind and it’s definitely a great value hostel!

This isn’t a negative, just a warning - the hostel is in the middle of the jungle, about a 5-10 minute walk from the beach. There are some lights along the way (assuming no power cut), but it’s pretty dark after sunset. We had a head torch which I would definitely recommend. Also bring bug spray!

This is a great place to stay in, by far the cheapest hostel around Long Set Beach and it’s really good value for money. The beds are big and super comfortable, they also have lockers so you can keep your stuff space. You can also chill out and get some food at the bar. It’s right in the middle of the jungle and perhaps a little more rustic but it’s on an island so all part of the fun! Staff were always very kind.

This isn’t a negative, just a warning - in order to get back from the beach in the evening you do have to do a 10-15 minute walk through the jungle and over the lagoon. There are a few lights up for about half of the walk but it is still quite dark and there can be power cuts on the island. We were fine with our phone lights and a head torch but it’s worth taking into consideration.
