Lovely breakfast and clean comfy room. Near to our party that’s why we booked it.

Liked that it was old and had a lot of character, felt homely

Great facilities for money- en suite with bath, tea and coffee making facilities with loads of pods, great bath products including shampoo and conditioners, plenty plug sockets. Unexpectedly great Greek restaurant for dinner and good breakfast. Very helpful staff.

Lots cobwebs around the windows as lots old properties do but could have done with a once over with a duster. V v low water pressure in the shower! I didn’t notice but heavier spouse felt mattress was on the thin side.

I love the character of the hotel. The staff a really friendly and breakfast was delicious

The only thing I can say was at breakfast we were harassed by flys. I know this can’t be helped in the warmer months but it did disrupt our peaceful breakfast we were looking for.

Off the road parking

Breakfast buffet was practically non existent. No yogurt, no fruit, limited choice of cereal, no pastries. Full English breakfast menu ok

Clean, and comfy bed

The television didn't work and seemed not to have done for some indefinite time. Staff were clueless and totally disinterested. One said that the telly might be fixed in a "few days", and seemingly saw no irony in that being after I'd long left.

Nice building

No secure parking for bikes and not sufficient space in rooms
