Charming building and friendly staff

Bar area is rather unwelcoming and bathrooms need modernisation

The room was both comfortable and spacious, quiet and convenient. The evening meal had limited choice for me, with various health concerns, but I found something I enjoyed.

The breakfast was fine if you wanted a full English cooked breakfast, but I only had coffee as there was scant choice of cereal and only white sliced bread.

We stayed in one of the stable block rooms which was fine but we always prefer the rooms in the main hotel - we have stayed at the Scole Inn many times over the years! However, the breakfast did not disappoint and was lovely as always. We loved the look.of the new Greek Restaurant and will definitely give it a try next time!

Prefer rooms in the main hotel but Stable Block but other than that, nothing negative to report!

The Hotel was beautiful, and staff friendly even though understaffed and under a lot of pressure.

The food was disappointing, everything. We ordered they did not have, even the basic pub food burgers and fish and chips.
