The Scole Hotel

Staff we exceptionally helpful. The Hotel was very old and they kept the original doors etc. It was very quiet stay. It was nice to have a very large double bed. Shower/bath was very good. A small shop round the corner.

The large bed was made up with 2 single beds but they were different heights which made a hill in the middle of the bed. It made it difficult to roll over. There were marks on the wall where there should of been a towel rail. The bath tap was constantly running, we could not turn it completely off. The bathroom sink plug was faulty and would not pop up. T.V. was difficult to get any channels. The room seamed a little tired and probably needs a refresh. These negative points still didn't detract from our stay. We will be back.

It has a lot of character

The general areas were not heated and very cold.

Lovely old biilding, location ideal for us. Pleasant staff.

Room up two flights of stairs, small room, shower doors poor, no shower gel , no wardrobe or hanging clothes facility . .ex back if bathroom door.

Its proximity to everything we needed was brilliant and the historic building was everything we hoped for. Our room wasn’t all that lovely, unfortunately. Smelled very musty (our son’s at the opposite end of the hotel was so much better) But the breakfast was lovely and the staff so very friendly, so all good
