The Scole Hotel

Room was great. Food service could be improved with more staff.

Loved the original feature of the property, the decor, tying in modern features with original features. Our room was on the top floor, comfortable and good space but the floor boards were very creaky and uneven, but that’s just with how old the building is.

I wasn’t aware that housekeeping would come in and make the beds throughout the day etc, if I’d have known I would haven’t left everything out, such as bank cards etc. however it was nice to return to fresh beds.

The staff especially the evening staff. They were honest, attentive work well as a team and fun. The food was well cooked and tasty.

The breakfast was a bit disorganised and they kept running out of things such as milk and coffee beans, mixed fruit for the porridge. We had to choose different meals and cocktails as ingredients had run out. But what we did eat was lovely great chef

The hotel is very quiet.

I would have liked a bit more selection at breakfast than just toast, such as some Croissants or Danish Pastries.

Very comfortable beds in a great surrounding and the staff were amazing

Mostly everything. Lovely building to stay in. Staff were friendly. Lovely location. Clean rooms with complimentary water/ tea etc topped up daily. Just all round lovely.

Room got a bit chilly. But there was an electric heater which helped. As did blocking the draft under the door, so all good.
