Staff were really friendly and welcomed our dog with open arms. Good value for money. Food was ok.

water pressure in our sink was very low. Some areas were a bit dated. Charging 12.95 for a breakfast even if you only have toast is not on. Price each item individually. No healthier options for breakfast. We paid 12.95 for my wife's poached egg on toast.

Restaurant closes at 3.00pm which is check-in time, so if you want to check in and grab something to eat you need to wait until it reopens at 6.00 pm. When we did eat in the restaurant, fish and chip was so over cooked it was almost incinerated and inedible. Was advised that the bar closes at 11.30pm, made sure we were back before 11.00pm for a nightcap to find it closed.

I booked in as dairy free but there was no dairy free milk available. Unforgivable, it has a very long shelf life so can be kept as a "just-in-case for ages and dairy intolerance is not an uncommon problem these days.

Room was lovely, my son and daughter in law enjoyed their stay. Little things like the coffee machine in the room just made it feel a little special.

Shower pressure was quite poor, however the water was lovely and warm

Friendly staff loved the Greek restaurant.

Extra bar seating was like a canteen could be made more cosy. The t.v in our room didn't work with the remote control.

Very comfortable room, while it (and whole hotel) was full of character thanks to historic features.

It is well positioned if you are visiting Diss and other nearby villages.

I have used the Scole inn for 8 years now. It has never had WiFi that works a - especially in the rooms in the garden.

Check-in and check out flowed very well. I was welcomed, and staff were attentive from booking up until my departure.. They adapted to my arrival time as I was delayed. The hotel never locked their doors, so guests were able to come and go to suit themselves. Room was clean, warm and cosy with beverage facilties.
