We picked this property to take our dogs away from firework and this was the perfect pick total peace and tranquility a stone throw for the beach we will definitely be back x

The Scottish weather!

Setting is beautiful Very comfortable rooms

In master bedroom upstairs, window above bed must be leaking as curtain cover is black with damp? Mould , which detracts from the whole feel of the place as well as possible health issues . Downstairs ensuite has unpleasant smell and toilet seat doesn’t open fully so difficult to use . Maintenance /cleaning staff on departure day , very prompt at 10 am, insisted on starting their cleaning even though we hadn’t finished loading the car, cant think he was that pushed /busy on a Tuesday, some people might have found him rude .

Wardrobe space was limited in master bedroom.

Beautiful spacious well equipped house in wonderful location with spectacular views. Beaches nearby and lovely walks. Fairly remote but not too far from Port Bannatyne and Rothsay. A very pleasant comfortable stay.

Location was perfect beautiful views to the sea, good quality bedding, good shower, fully equipped kitchen with everything you need - cottage was nice but .......

We have stayed in many cottages, also owned and let out a property (never charged cleaning fee) but never been charged £80 in advance for cleaning, being charged this amount you would expect the cottage to be perfectly clean, however this was not the case. The cottage had a musty smell throughout. We only used one bedroom it was the one with the super king bed in upstairs bedroom which was reasonably comfortable, dont know about the other beds. Skylight window in upstairs bedroom had been leaking water and was also very noisy (windy and raining when we stayed) - could do with being replaced or sealed. The log burner had a broken side glass so didnt work properly, could have been dangerous if children had been there. Sofa in lounge not particularly comfortable and a wee bit grubby, window vent in lounge broken, drafty. Double glazing in conservatory all blown, some of the roman blinds need repaired/replaced as they dont function. Cooker hood in kitchen didnt work properly very noisy then stopped. Downstairs bathroom window had no key so couldnt be opened when showering, still looking for the free toiletries. Was a bit concerned when seen lots of boxes of bed bug traps around the cottage. I could go on. I do have photos if required.
