LA SUNSET CONDO

Condo was very clean, well appointed (extra linens/towels/cleaning supplies, etc) and very safe. Washer/dryer was a plus as well as the air-conditioning units. Close to downtown (10 min walk) - an easy downhill walk and good exercise returning back up.

It would be great if they had a House Manual showing nearby stores and restaurants (and recommendations from the hosts and/or previous guests).

Leh was a fabulous person to show us the condo and keep in correspondence with. The condo was incredibly appointed….with lots of room to stretch out, enjoy a good home cooked meal, and relax. the view was gorgeous. we used the grill but didn’t have time to use the pool unfortunately. the grounds are kept immaculate. It was really nice having a separate AC unit in the bedroom as well as fans. It was extremely hot when we visited and the sky windows in the condo did let in a bit of heat. but the AC was wonderful to have.

we loved everything! Like I mentioned the sky windows and other large windows let in a bit of heat. Black out curtains might help, but then you wouldn’t have the incredible view.

Location and view are amazing. Apartment was very nice. Mini-splits to provide AC and heat (San Miguel gets cold) are a huge plus. Host and owners were very attentive.

Electric key codes were a a little difficult at first when arriving. Figured it out quickly.

Sunset Condo was everything we hoped and more. Very roomy, well furnished, a properly furnished private condo to a high standard. All the appliances worked, unlike some places we have stayed. The magnificent views over San Miguel especially in the mornings over breakfast were lovely. It was warm while we were there and the swimming pool was a bonus and the aircon worked perfectly. The host representative met us on arrival and also was in touch during our stay to help. It was very quiet and very secure! Would we go back - absolutely.

About the only negative was the stairs to reach the front door, although there is an outdoor lift to help with luggage. And it is up a hill to the east of town, so those with mobility problems could take a local taxi or Uber.

The view is amazing for sunsets.you can watch hot air balloons in the morning on the weekends.

Our stay at La Sunset Condo in San Miguel de Allende was beyond our expectations. First, check-in was super smooth with Leh. She greeted us with a big smile and a hug and gave us a thorough explanation on how to access the complex, operate the lift and get into our condo. As soon as you enter the complex from the bustling street, you are greeted by lush surroundings and quiet! The condo is accessed by stairs (partially by lift if you prefer). Once you enter (with PIN code - no card or keys!) the condo itself is beautifully decorated and immaculate with lots of natural lighting. The kitchen is equipped for preparing in-house meals. The washer and dryer were super handy to have. Although San Miguel has excellent food, nothing beats staying in because the view here is stunning!! We had front row seats to majestic sunsets every evening and views of floating hot air balloons in the mornings. When we did venture out, it was a short walk to El Jardín (downhill). Fair warning: the walk back uphill is a killer but a taxi right to the front door is inexpensive and well worth it.

Watching the sunset from the patio each night and the 180 degree view over the city was worth a million bucks. A beautiful and spacious condo. It was a lovely and relaxing place to stay with a beautiful shared pool to boot.

Perched on a hillside so there are quite a few steps to hike up. Necessary for the view though, so well worth it. It's a short walk to the Central plaza and you could hear mariachi bands playing faintly in the distance.

The space was welcoming and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. The sunsets are unbelievable. A nice breeze blows through when the patio doors are open and the views are magnificent. Washer and dryer were very handy too!. Great restaurants nearby too.

We didn't mind but it's a bit uphill. Note for anyone with mobility issues or other concerns.
