The Shuim Dive Resort Moalboal

Genuine, generous and kind highly skilled hosts and diving instructors. My son gained his Open Water Diver with Kiho and Inhee. They were very capable instructors who took a great deal of care to make sure that our experience was safe and rewarding. They also supported me to renew my diving after many years away. I was quite uncertain, however with their encouragement and support I was able to dive with my son, something I am very grateful for. The staff at Shuim were all wonderful, they could not do enough for us. Plus, a beautiful quiet, private beach, away from the hustle and bustle of Moalboal, yet less than 10 minutes walk along the shore (at low tide), or the road, to the shops and restaurants. I cannot recommend Shuim Resort enough, for diving, or simply a really special place to stay.

Everything. Amazing place. Every detail charges with calmness and comfort. The owners are very friendly and nice people. The resort workers are always ready to drop everything and fulfill any of your prizes. The fact that the resort is far from the city does not bother at all. You can rent a scoter two hundred meters away. The prices are 2 times cheaper than in the capital. Kiho is a great instructor. He teaches not only diving but also careful attitude to the underwater world and equipment. In general, this place has exceeded my expectations many times over. I will definitely come back here.

The air conditioner in my room was a bit noisy. But knowing the owner can say that it will be fixed in short time.

had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly kind, always attentive, and truly went out of their way to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. You can really feel that they care about their guests. The location is great, right by the sea, with direct access to snorkeling. I even had the chance to swim with turtles just a few steps from the hotel, which was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

Cozy and peaceful little resort a short walk from the main town. It is run by a lovely Korean couple who offer diving trips. Right by crystal clear waters where you can snorkel. Excellent Korean food!

The room is disappointing. Should have been designed better, it was suitable just for spending the nights.

The resort was amazing and the dives were so fun. I felt safe and our instructor also made sure we had a great experience at all times. I would recommend this dive resort to anyone looking to enjoy the Philippines and dive!. It’s close by to everything and has a private beach that we even hung out and saw turtles.

- Location perfect! Close to the center and yet nice and quiet. Private beach section is a highlight - Rooms nice and large and simple but well equipped - top price-performance ratio - Best hosts and staff ever. So friendly and helpful. They made everything possible for us and never asked for anything in return. For example, we were allowed to stay longer in the room because our cab to the airport didn't arrive until 2pm.

Great accomodation with direct access to the sea (house reef great for snorkeling). Really relaxing atmosphere in the garden and on the veranda with a fridge available for cold drinks. The town is accessible by foot (short walk) and has some nice restaurants. Scooter rental is just arround de corner from the accomodation. We went diving with the owners of the resort (3-dive package using their own boats directly from the shore infront of the accomodation, with only guests of the accom. and including amazing korean lunch after the 3rd dive). We had an amazing time and would reccomend to anyone visiting moalboal!
