The Shuim Dive Resort Moalboal

We had an amazing time in the Shuim! It’s a bit further away from the center, but we actually liked this as it’s much more calm and quiet. You can walk or scooter easily to the center. We also did a few dives with them and this was super well organized. The Korean lunch afterwards was great too! You can go snorkeling from the resort too, we spotted turtles in their backyard :) Would come back!

This place is absolute heaven, and you just can’t miss the opportunity to stay there when in Moalboal: - Owners are the best - Location is peacefully amazing and just a 10-min walk from the best spots in Moalboal - You only need to swim 1min from the hotel beachfront to explore the wonderful marine life, turtles included - Amazing experience diving with the hotel crew - You should not miss the Korean dinner if you stay there Whether you’re a diver or not, this is an amazing place to stay.

I stayed at Shuim for 2 nights as I wanted to do a couple of dives in Moalboal. After booking this accommodation, the hosts took care of everything. The dives, my transfer, meals, everything was arranged. They were very fast when replying to my questions. Upon arrival I was amazed by how sweet they are. They arranged everything according to my wishes and schedule and they were flexible too when it came to the dives. These are definitely the sweetest persons I’ve met during my trip. The dives were amazing, I went with Irheen, she was so sweet, very professional and educated! They prepared a really nice lunch afterwards. In the afternoon you can easily chill at the premises and enjoy a beautiful and calm sunset. I’ve had a great time here!

Lovely friendly staff, good breakfast. Room decent, clean, comfortable bed, hot shower. Beautiful views out the front to the sea. Free snorkels / masks available to explore the sea right off the resort. Bit of a walk out of town but it’s nice to be in a quieter area

Rooms had no safe, no kettle, no fridge Entry road flooded a bit when it rained so big puddles

It was right on the water with private beach access which was perfect for tanning and snorkeling. The owners were super friendly and helped us with our travels. Laundry was really cheap and fast.

We maybe expected a bit more luxury in the room for the price but it was still great

Our hosts were fantastic. Imi and Key run this great resort. They are also 2 very experienced and knowledgeable dive instructors with over 5000 dives ! They have lots of local knowledge and even took complimentary photos and videos whilst I was diving ! The resort has its on beach and you can snorkel here. The food was excellent. Amazing Korean food which is some of the best we have eaten. The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much for anyone.

Bring ear plugs as the cockerels are a bit noisy in the mornings 🤣.
