Kaoglen-Stags Suite-Hot tub-Cairngorms- Dog Friendly

The room itself was amazing. Super comfy bed, very well presented. As it was mid week the restaurant and bar wasn’t open. Didn’t see any staff at all - the key was in the door. One person directed us to the accommodation and left us to it. Stayed two nights and on both nights there was what appeared to be a party in one of the rooms with lots of noise and music. This was contrary to the request to respect other residents re noise. What can you do? There was also a lot of dog Poop around and a lovely golden retriever wandering around but in the private areas. Not sure who it belonged to. The stay was enjoyable and the hot tub fab but did feel whilst it was all lovely there was very little by way of customer service and a ‘go to’ person if needed. Especially if there are loud residents or on site issues.

Room was nice and spacious, all amenities needed. The hot tub was lovely and easy to use. All facilities clean when we arrived. Lovely views of the woodlands from the hot tub. We ever saw a doe and a fawn in the evening! Would definitely stay again.

It would be nice to have a little more privacy around the hot tub area as anyone walking to the woods walked past but also that might restrict the view.

No biggie but the drinking glasses were dirty . Would have been nice if there was a small amount of washing up liquid and kitchen roll to get us started

Everything was perfect location, hot tub, accommodation, food, staff was in the stags accommodation will definitely be back.

We loved staying here, it was so relaxing, the lodge was beautiful as well as the scenery. The bed was super comfortable, I slept great! We finished our last night by visiting the restaurant, the food and drinks were absolutely amazing, the portions were huge and so filling. We can't wait to book another stay at some point and enjoy it all over again!

Wifi didn’t work at all. Sofa could be cleaner. No point of cushions if they are totally flat. Garden chair legs fall through decking. Huge weed next to hut tub.

The room was lovely and hot tub was clean!

There were a pair of smelly old socks from previous guests lying on the couch behind the pillow. There was a gate or privacy wall missing at the hot tub where I can only assume they fill and service the hot tub from. There was food left in the fridge from previous guests. The oven/grill was so difficult to work.
