The Coach House

Good proximity to Blackpool attractions, pretty gardens and pretty looking cottage. The mezzanine bedroom was good fun and the balcony off the kitchen was lovely. Nice touch having board games and loved that it had an American style fridge with ice and an air fryer!

It didn't feel very clean when we arrived. Dirty doormat, bathroom shower and shower head was very mouldy and the whole bathroom was a bit smelly. The fridge looked like it hadn't been cleaned and had food debris in the shelves. The noise from the busy road was very loud meaning we had to keep all the windows closed at night to allow us to sleep, which wasn't ideal due to the temps - this can't be helped and is something we should have realised on booking.

Beautiful property and close to the places we wanted to visit. Plenty of space for 3 adults and 2 children in our party. Lovely hosts.

The house itself was beautiful and had a very homely feel inside. The kitchen had everything we needed and loved the door that opened to outside with seating. Was just what we were hoping for, well worth the money and only a short taxi ride to the front. The owners were lovely and very helpful! We visited for 2 nights but could have easily stayed longer.

The layout felt a bit strange at first with the bedrooms being downstairs but the bedrooms stayed lovely and cool during the really warm weekend we visited. The only thing we would of found useful would of been a gate at the top of the stairs like the ones at the bottom as the house is dog friendly and we were worried our elderly dog may have fallen down the stairs whilst in the kitchen/living room. There was a baby gate but it didn’t work, so we blocked it with boxes/bags which was an easy fix and did the job.

It was like home from home but even better we were able to sit outside on balcony & front garden and let our grandson run around. Comfortably fitted the 7 of us including a wee bed for grandson was very cute thank you

Loft area not suitable for adults with a disabilty

The whole place was absolutely spot on for what we needed! Amenities were fab and sleeping quarters were comfortable and clean. It was lovely and quiet whilst still being a short drive to attractions. I loved that the accommodation had a massive fridge freezer and airfyer in the kitchen, and also provided a washer/dryer/iron in the utility room. Also it was a nice surprise to find a bottle of prosecco waiting for us in the fridge after a long day of driving. The hosts left a little bed for my toddler to sleep on which was perfect - he had brilliant sleeps! Just wish the weather had been better to enjoy the bbq facilities and the balcony too! In the car you can reach the south shore/sandcastle water park within 10 minutes, Blackpool Zoo in 10 minutes and also the main Central Pier was around 10 minutes away. We will definitely be returning next year! :)

The only thing that could have improved our stay would have been a robust safety gate at the top of the stairs like the wooden custom made one one at the bottom. We tried the metal gate provided. Other than that, the place was faultless!
