Cozy Downtown Loft in Bradford

Everything was bad.

The stay at this flat was aweful, when we arrived at the end of the day after a 12hours drive we discovered that the flat was not even cleaned. There were hairs on the bed sheets everywhere, the bathroom was disgusting not cleaned, the floor was horribly uncleaned. It looked like someone stayed in the flat before our arrival and nobody cleaned it after. The sheet were not changed. Both the cupboard were broken and one of it looked like it’s about to just fell down on us. There were no full light in the bathroom, we spend one week with an almost no light in the bathroom. There were no hot water, when I called them they told me that I have to switch a button on because it was off…..? I switched it on and had hot water at the very end of the day which was a big problem because we couldnt shower. Every morning there were no hot water we had to wait hours to have it after switching the button on. The first day when we arrived we asked them to clean the flat as it was not cleaned but they told us that the cleaner cannot come because it was late night. As it was disgusting we booked an hotel room which cost us a lot as we booked it late. Today I asked for refund for compensation at least they are not replying to my messages. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FLAT EVEN IF IT COSTS YOU LESS THAN ANOTHER. And by the way I paid a very good amount for this flat which is not normal for this type of appartment. I will attached some pictures below.

Plenty of room and loads of beds for larger groups.

The location and secure parking and the towels were very clean.

On arrival we were asked to park in spot 15 or our maintenance deposit may be affected. You can't see the numbers and we finally found it there was a car in it. I did call and they told me to park in no 16. Got out of the lift to boom boom music playing. We nearly walked away. But we went in and once again wished we hadn't. It appeared dirty. On further inspection, the bathroom was unclean, shower held on with a cable tie, bath was stained and panel all cracked and coming away. The living room was ok. But the sofa was very unclean and uncomfortable. The oven was dirty and smelled of old fat. There was no Washing up bowl and nothing to keep water in to wash up. The freezer was completely solid with frost. The lower bedroom appeared to be cleaner but the skylight was broken open and the room was cold and noisy, the upstairs beds had been slept in and some were dirty and had hairs and bits in them. We reported the beds to the owner and was asked to send photos but I ly received an offer of a discounted other stay. I might have higher standards and I should have reviewed the comments but the least you require is cleanliness.
