GBVery Homely
Nothing ?
GBLoved the location of the place & it was spacious & comfortable. It gave us a superb base to be able to explore Rye & the surrounding area & free parking just outside was an added bonus. The garden was also a fantastic bonus, especially with the weather we experienced & it was lovely to have our own private space in which to relax. Gary, our host, was helpful & considerate. Highly recommend this cottage to others, although be prepared for narrow stairs.
Overall, we loved the place & would happily stay again. I only marked down cleanliness just for attention to detail - a couple of light bulbs out or flickering, a new mirror put up in the bathroom & the paint not renewed around it, nothing which impacted on our stay at all, but I have a background in hospitality so can be rather picky - overall, as we said before - highly recommended & would stay there again
GBGreat location opposite The Globe pub and restaurant which was lovely
GBWe loved the location, opposite a lovely pub, easy parking and close to the centre of Rye. The beds were comfortable and cottage very clean. I booked the wring weekend by mistake and the owner let me stay on another weekend at no extra charge.
The sofa in the living room was not as shown in the photos and was very uncomfortable.
