Black Ship Sapa

Really great hospitality. The hotel just opened 2 months ago. Good food and nice rooms with the best beds and sheets we have had in Vietnam so far. Great views when you wake up, spectacular to see the clouds come and go. We also joined a real local dinner (which was tasty) and nice to learn more about the Vietnamese culture. Besides that the early morning breakfast sandwich to go on the last day (omelette, tomato and cheese) tasted delicious and was outstandingly good.

The road to the hotel is a little bit bumpy. We drove our motorbikes which was adventures but fun to do but if you don’t like it the hotel can arrange a taxi which works perfect.

It was a very remote, picturesque, calm and pretty accommodation! We really enjoyed our stay with pure nature. Also the hike directly behind the house (which we did but we went without a guide so we got lost a bit and thank god the owners of the house picked us up and helped us finding the way out 😂) was incredible.

Drinks and food were a bit expensive.

Clean and tidy with a beautiful view. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

It is a bit of a distance to town and taxis don’t love the gravel road. If it suits you I would recommend renting a motorbike and driving to the location. We did not have a motorbike and the staff were very helpful in organising a taxi for us.
