Castas do Douro

Sehr schöne und komfortable Unterkunft. Ein Auto ist nach meiner Meinung notwendig. Vermieter sehr nett und bemüht.

Der schöne Pool war leider falsch und schlecht gepflegt. Der Rasen vor dem Pool war ein Katzenklo.

Second trip to Castas do Douro, this time with friends. We rented both apartments and were (again) very happy with everything. Comfortable, beautifully renovated and with good A/C (considering the very high temperature outside).

Not in the host's control - but there were a lot of fires in the area and so we were unable to sit outside and enjoy the beauty. I would not recommend visiting Douro in August...

Mooi appartement met lekkere bedden en alle nodige faciliteiten. Pinhão op 20 minuutjes rijden, waarvandaan leuke treinrit en boottochtje. Leuk om wijnboer te bezoeken. In het mini-dorp komt bakkertje langs (en groente/fruitboer), super grappig om mee te maken en lekker brood.

Superbe location dans un petit village gérée par des hôtes très sérieux et serviables. Leur site web avec toutes les informations sur la maisonnette et les environs est très professionnel. Très propre, tout équipé, calme. Nous avons passé d’excellents moments de vacances dans cette location. La piscine (partagée avec la deuxième location) est très agréable..Le parking privé est grand ( un peu difficile d’accès dans une ruelle en pente / bien ouvrir le portail complètement en 1+3 parties sinon ça coince !) mais il possible de se garer dans la rue en amont. Lits, climatisation et vue extra. Cuisine, tout y est même un poêle. Salle de bain avec douche ET magnifique baignoire avec belle vue. Nous recommandons très sincèrement.

Great stay, really beautiful and very well equipped house (also in the kitchen everything you need). The view from the bedroom and bathroom is very nice. It is also nice that there is a swimming pool. Simple, but we enjoyed!

If I have to mention something; the hedge too hight for view from the terrasse. I already asked and this will be fixed! The village it is situated in is very little and a lot has to be renovated, but that will come for sure. You don’t bother at all when your in the house!

The location was great - lots of things to see and do within an easy drive. The apartment is wonderful - fantastic amenities, such a peaceful and quiet retreat.

There was nothing not to like!!!

The place was recently remodeled and looked fabulous. The views were amazing.

We had difficulty locating the property depending on the GPS used and the way the address was typed in. The host was very pleasant and assisted us when trying to locate the property.
