Turned up couldn't get in no contact from owner then found key under matt house was dirty is was horrible

Spacious and great value for a big family. We were in Auckland for a funeral and have a son with Cerebral Palsy, the single level, space and parking at door was perfect for him. Had everything we needed. Everyone had their own space. Warm and well equipped.

Outside area and shower could do with a tidy up and some cleaning products would be helpful. Plug doesnt fit kitchen sink. But in general very comfortable.

There really was nothing about this place to like.

The minute we walked in the door we were met with not just the smell of an old house, but rather we were hit with the smell of a house that hasn't been kept up properly or deeply cleaned in who knows how long. The rooms were good sized, and this place could be made into a great place to stay with a lot of upgrading. One of the rooms had a non-working heater, and the rooms were very cold. The bedding was worn and stained and very tired looking. Moving on to the lounge and kitchen area, there was a good heat pump, but that's where the "positive" ended. The kitchen is more than just "dated", it was falling apart. The fronts of all the drawers were warped and peeling. The sofa in the lounge had a crooked cushion, which a member of our party lifted and found a pair of someone's used panties along with a couple of suspicious hairs! On to the toilet (if you dared). The floor was absolutely sticky. The toilet seat was half off, and the walls looked as if they hadn't been scrubbed perhaps ever. The shower in the bathroom, besides being dirty, does indeed have a dangerously broken drain cover. The bathtub had a black ring around it, used bars of soap on the tub and sink along with a couple of shower scrubby puffs. Hygeine? Not! . The cabinet on the wall had a dirty t-shirt and a toothbrush I assume someone left behind on a previous stay. We tried for 30 minutes to overcome what we had just walked into in an attempt to make ourselves believe we could stay in this house. I sent a message to the property owner to express the fact that we couldn't possibly sleep in these conditions. I knew there were no refunds, but I expected some sort of acknowledgment or reply, but I got nothing back... zero communication. I would never suggest this property to anyone.

The first room to the left was riddled with ants in the bed, window sill and carpets.
