Peaceful cottage retreat in the Peak District

Lovely,quiet area. Bed was extremely comfortable so much so we have purchased a new mattress ourselves. Denyse was very accomdating and even left a little welcome gift for me,hubby and the kids. Definitely worth the money and would love to stay again.

Entire house to ourselves with ALL the comforts of home, you will NOT get in a hotel room!

Fighting for a car park space, not the hosts fault by any means. Seems to be first in best dressed or be prepared to walk.

Lovely comfortable cottage that felt like home. We really enjoyed the location with walks on the doorstep and an easy walk to town.

The cottage was simple and cosy and perfect for a few nights away. The cottage also provided everything you needed.

The communication with the owner was superb, very clean house and you could tell they had made every effort to ensure we had a fantastic stay. The house was very comfortable, a few interesting decor choices, but perfect little cottage for a family trip.

There was nothing that we can complain about, everything was as described and as expected.

Quirky, good location, spacious for a small cottage.

Dated furnishings, it smelt fusty, and needed airing, the freezer wasn’t working, it feels a little unloved, outdoor chairs for the table would have been good. We would have expected better for £150 per night.
