"A wonderfully relaxing New Year’s Eve break."

9.0

Brilliant location for lots of lovely walks in the Peak District. Cosy sitting room with log burner and games to play. Fully equipped kitchen with extras like squash and tea and coffee. Super clean. Fantastic communication with Denyse. Lovely little touches with Prosecco for us adults and selection box for our little boy.

Sofas could have been a little comfier.

"The perfect stay at "The Hideaway""

10.0

Location was perfect for our trip to Alton towers (20 minute drive away) In a small, quiet and friendly village with local shops, pubs and a good Chinese take away too! Our Host Denyse was lovely and very helpful! She provided us with all information we needed for checking in, for our 2 night stay and answered any question we had promptly. The cottage was outstanding, spotless and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back in the future!! Thank you again Denyse for a great stay and being a fabulous host!

"Cosy cottage in a lovely little village with easy access to walks and nearby Bakewell."

10.0

We stayed for 5 nights and the cottage was absolutely lovely, very cosy but plenty big enough for 2. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom modern and very clean, it was lovely to have a hot Abath after a day's exploring. The kitchen was very well equipped and the sofa and chair were very comfy for watching tv. Communication with the host was great and very friendly. There are lots of places to explore nearby with the Star Disc at Stoney Wood practically on the door step, Buxton and Bakewell are nearby and we visited the plague village at Eyam which has a lovely museum and a very nice tea room!

Too many dark hunting related pictures for our liking but it wouldn't put us off staying again. The steps down to the front door are very high which was ok for us but could be a problem for someone with mobility issues.

"Very very clean, quiet, well laid out with everything needed. Lovely host. Good communication."

10.0

Host was exceptionally helpful. Answered questions about the area, going out of her way to provide requested information.

Maybe a bath mat and handrail above bath for older customers, as bath slippy.

"All you would have at home, nice."

10.0

Lovely 2 bedroom well kept cosy home from home cottage. Both beds made up prior to our arrival. Denyse was very helpful with any questions regarding our stay, and even sent us a clear information booklet regarding the property, with easy key collection. Thank you Denyse xx

All good.

"A lovely stay"

The cottage had everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable! Denyse was very helpful prior to our stay with any questions we had. The cottage is a great location for exploring that area of the Peaks.

Nothing.
