Sky Garden Ella

This is a lovely family run home stay ,so very welcoming the family are lovely it’s also very comfortable. It’s in a convenient location away from the main town of Ella but easily walkable. Its central to visit the 9 Arches bridge also The breakfast was very good with lots of choice .

My only problem was the access to the property which is up several stairs .

Amazing stay in Sky Garden Ella. Such a lovely family, who only want to take care of you during the stay. Their recommendations of what to do each day was super. The location to Little Adams Peak, Nine Arches Bridge and the town of Ella was so convenient. They even had a safe place to park our Tuk Tuk. The homemade breakfasts each morning were delicious. Definitely the best Rotti we had. Also the beds were heaven! Super comfy

The family of the owner was sooo sweet & helpful. New rooms.

Ella Sky Garden, maybe our favourite place. Its a 2 room hotel, understand this. Its run by the most friendly family ever. The owner, his wife and their two daughters are keen to talk to you in English sinve they are learning the language better. Breakfast is Sri Lankan eggs and pancakes, delicious. The room has no AC but a fan, and a mosquito net. You may start without the blanked but find yourself covered when you wake up. Ella lies at 1000m so the nights are cool. The room is situated at the end of a steep stairs and in a lush jungle garden.

The accommodation was wonderful—our host, a skilled carpenter, built everything himself, from the windows to the beds, all pure craftsmanship! The host family was incredibly sweet and made us feel at home. A special thanks to the daughters for serving our meals. Truly a fantastic family!

The couple running the place were incredibly kind, providing amazing service throughout my stay. They even went the extra mile by packing my breakfast for the train and personally dropping me off at the station. The location is also excellent—close to the main attractions and conveniently near the town center.

The place felt a bit too damp for my liking, and the shower pressure was somewhat low.

Stunning! This was my favourite homestay in Sri Lanka. From the modern and immaculately clean rooms with mosquito nets, to the loan umbrella thoughtfully left out front that I used to climb Little Adam's Peak, to the french press coffee and the huge and delicious breakfasts, to the squirrel playing in the trees a metre away, everything was perfect. Its a 10min stroll from the busy main road, and the start of little adam's peak (25mins to top) and 9 arches Bridge (7mins to get there) are suuuuper close, dont miss either of these. Thanks mr Thushara and family!

The family was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I felt at home, thank you very much The bed was amazing and the room really beautiful Hot water every time The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. I highly recommend this house for everyone want something really convenience for visiting the most important touristic place. (Very close by walk) and knowing such a great family. If I go back to Ella, it will definitely be there

Exceptionally clean, comfortable and well located place run by a really friendly couple with their daughter helping out too. Very generous hosts, e.g a very filling breakfast, helping arrange onward transport. Lots of local restaurants nearby. It's a 20 minute walk to central Ella, but nice to be a little away from it. Sky Garden Ella is literally 5 minute walk from start of trails to Little Adam's Peak and Nine Arches Bridge. Would happily return and recommend.
