Sky Garden Ella

If you're looking for accommodation in Ella that is both private but also makes you feel part of the family, look no further. Thashara was responsive from the day of arrival, organising to pick me up in his tuk-tuk from the train station. The room was so clean and lovely, with large very comfy bed, luggage store and beauty corner (with mirror and hairdryer). The breakfast was absolutely incredible (see photo) serves by Thashara's lovely daughter on the terrace of the room overlooking their beautiful gardens. The location is incredible, in the quieter section of town (but still plenty of restaurant choices for dinner and only 15mins walk into the main section of town) and 2min walk to the trailheads for both little Adams peak and nine arches bridge. A perfect base for your travels - look no further than Sky Garden.

Absolutely nothing, was perfect!

It’s a small family run place with just 2 rooms , the owner Tushara is helpful and nice but has no one else to help him. The food prepared and served is very very good and was one of our best meals in Sri Lanka. Helpful nice people

1. Too many stairs and steps 2. No help for luggage when we checked out coz the owner was away and was painful for us to bring our stuff down 3. gets noisy as it’s close to the road, but that’s with most places in Ella

Host is extremely kind and nice. Breakfast both days different and delicious. Beds very comfortable. Room with a lovely terrace surrounded by nature.

Not much warm water at once, but its just a matter of time management of who when has a shower. Wifi sometimes off..but who does really need wifi in such a beutiful place?:-)

Absolutely the best accomodation, hosts and breakfast in Sri Lanka!!! Fabulous location just out of the main st of Ella, 50 m to nine arches trail head. Beautifully appointed rooms, excellent value. Cannot recommend enough!

The family was very hospital. We were travelling the whole day and I requested them to make a dinner for us- they accepted and it was delicious. Very polite as well. The appartment was very nice and comfortable. It is also very close to Little Adam’s peek and the bridge, also to the city

This accommodation is particularly characterized by the warm and loving nature of the host family! They always looked after our well-being, organized everything and made the stay something special! Very nice complex with lots of space and privacy! Every day he brought us breakfast - it was every different and very delicious! The time we could decide. The location of the accommodation ist perfect. We did everything by foot: nine Arche Bridge, Ella rock, Little adams Peak… For Sri Lanka it is a high standard. Very clean and lovely! The guestfather was such a lovely man!! Thanks!
