Extremely nice hosts, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast

Issues with hot water, and the room remained not cleaned after the initial night, with no towel exchange despite their dampness due to the humid climate. While our experience was acceptable, in comparison to other properties in Sri Lanka the value for money could be improved.

Beautiful room with a comfortable bed. Nice terrace with lush and green surroundings. Super friendly, helpfull hosts Breakfast is amazing, loads of fresh fruits,juice, pancakes, curry and more . Would highly recommend this honesta y.

What luck that we found Ella Sky Garden! After our original accommodation cancelled then hiked up the price to rebook we found this wonderful hidden gem. Tucked away from the Main Street but with in a 15-20 walk we had a great 2 nights sleep on the softest mattress we have come across in Sri Lanka! Little Adam’s peak and the nine arch bridge are also both within a 20-30 minute walk and there are plenty of small shops, cafes and restaurants a stroll away if you don’t fancy the main strip. There are plenty of Tuk Tuks along the road if you would prefer not to walk however we enjoyed the adventure and the directions given by the host were spot on! Breakfast was huge and served with in our opinion the best tea in Sri Lanka!! If we hadn’t had a train to Kandy booked we would have stayed here longer, the host was kind enough to take us to the station for our early train with a packed breakfast to go. We wish this family all the success and happiness and both feel blessed to have been welcomed into their home.

So far the cleanest room in Sri Lanka and our hosts made it a home.... Very comfy bed, beautiful surrounding and close to Little Adam's Peak and Nine-Arch-Bridge But we definitely have to highlight our hosts who read every wish from our lips, even if we weren't aware of them... - Sri Lankan breakfast was incredibly tasty and we could decide on our favorites, on restaurant status or above - took us to train Station early morning and prepared lunch boxes - we asked where to buy Laulu, as we couldn't find this fruit and the next day, he handed it to us - even for Sri Lanka superfriendly

The pictures did not meet my expectations. The staff could barely understand a word of English. There is no bath tub in the room which is what I had hoped for when I made my booking, false advertising. I booked for 4 nights ended up Cancelling 3 nights and went somewhere else which was much nicer. It was a little far out of town for me too.

Other than the tiny room, there is nothing else on the property you can relax into. The owners house is adjoining and I didn't feel comfortable. There was a killer dog on site which scared me to death with its aggressive behaviour.

This has been the best stay in our 15 day trip to Sri Lanka. Our guest Thushara and his family were the friendliest people we have met. They have a great heart and are always there to help. The breakfast is just unbelievable and the room is big and cozy - by the way, the bed is by far the most confortable one we have used in our trip. Very nice location close to spots like Adam's Peak and Nine Arches. You will not regret!

The best home stay one might have in Sri Lanka. The family is incredibly welcoming and generous, the room is immaculate cozy and quiet, and the yard is a peaceful zen garden of well arranged plants. High speed Wi-Fi.A prime location within easy walking distance of a few different hikes and the Main Street of Ella town. The Home cooked dinners and breakfasts were scrumptious and healthy meals that you feel good after you eat. The family really takes care of their guests and It’s easy to feel right at home here.I would highly recommend staying here.

This was the best homestay I had whilst travelling in Sri Lanka. The family of Thuspara was warm hearted, very welcoming making my stay feeling like home. Humble and attentive. Dinner with the family was a very authentic rice and curry - breakfast sufficient and delicious. The first black tea I was able to drink <3 Room and bathroom clean, inviting porch and beautiful garden. USB plug for charging your electronic devices. Light dimming possible😍 Last but not least I did not get mosquito bites 👌

I went there in rainy season so my clothing got wet and couldn't dry at all but moisture in the rooms applies actually to all accommodation in Sri Lanka. I was able to use the hair dryer at the end which was sufficient👌
