Annexe Lodge cottage in Drymen

Lovely wee break for my daughter’s birthday with her 2 friends. They loved the hot tub. We had everything we needed to make food. Then had an amazing breakfast at Skoosh cafe just a two min walk away.

We loved the idea of going for the hot tub but to get there and be told it gets turned off at 2230 so for the money we paid for 1 night and weren't able to use the facilities for very long is unfair.

The hot tub being turned off at 2230, very expensive for one night for a couple with not much time to use the facilities as check in isn't till 4pm. Place is a bit run down and quite dirty, empty toilet roll tubes etc still in the bathroom. No clear instructions on how to use the hot tub had to ask owner to come and set up the fire for it.

The property was easily located on maps. Easy to access property on arrival. Host helpful when enquired.

Slightly cold on arrival and had to turn heating on (not a big deal), WiFi did not work with internet passcode provided. Shower when using went extremely hot or very cold when using. No tv in bedroom only in main lounge area. Main bedroom area woodlouse on floor (I know this can happen due to being an annex) but some corners were dusty.

As always clean ideal location owners are lovely and helpful hot tub great x

The location was great, close to Loch Lomond , aquarium and local castle. Host was very attentive with replies to messages and sorting any questions we had. The hot tub was lovely to enjoy in the evenings and beds where comfy

Small areas could have been a bit cleaner as there were crumbs and bits in microwave and an open dip pot in the fridge from previous guests Floors downstairs where cold ! Bring slippers

The owner was very helpful. The hot tub was amazing Beds were comfortable Great location for exploring Loch Lomond

Location great as very near to town centre and across the road from Buchanan Arms Hotel, where we used their pool and sauna facilties. Hot tub was emptied and refilled each day and was nice and hot. Host offered to help with anything that we needed. Heating was good. Easy to turn on and off. Beds comfy enough. WiFi worked fine. TV had Netflix and other apps.

No on site parking. Felt that parking on the street in front of the property would be blocking the road or pavement as too narrow. Had to park further away then walk to the property with our bags. No extractor fan when cooking. So got quite smokey with a pan on. Windows had to be opened fully. No starter/welcome pack (tea, coffee etc) No shower gel, soap toiletries. No drawers to put clothes in if you had more than 2 people there. So didn't unpack case.
